Serve with Us

Go feed the hungry, give a drink to the thirsty, invite the stranger in, clothe the naked, visit the sick and the prisoner and look after them. Go and be Christ to others.

We would love for you to come out and join us during the week or for special projects. There are multiple ways you can serve.

Long Run Ministry (Danville, KY)

(Meets Sundays at 1:45pm)

Join us as we reach out to families living in the Long Run Apartments near Jennie Rogers Elementary School in Danville. We meet at Jennie Rogers parking lot at 1:45pm every Sunday (view the map and get directions). Each week we visit families, pray with them, meet basic needs, build relationships and share Christ with them. Contact Bill Yeary to serve with this group.

East End Ministry

(Meets Tuesdays at 6:30pm)

Each week we meet the needs of families living in the East End of Lexington as we work with low-income families, single mothers, children in need and more. We park on East 2nd Street and meet at the Refuge Medical Clinic 6:30pm every Tuesday (view the map and get directions). Contact Steve Kohlman to serve with this group.

Woodhill Ministry

(Meets Mondays at 6pm)

Join us as we reach out to families living in the Woodhill area which is located just one mile from Southland's future campus at the old Lexington Mall. We meet at the mall parking lot at 6pm every Monday (view the map and get directions). Our purpose is to help meet basic needs, build relationships with the families and share the love and hope of Christ. Contact Steve Kohlman to serve with this group.
