When God called Moses to lay his staff down, Moses struggled to let go of it. God told Moses to “throw it down” and Moses held on to the staff for dear life. So many people do the same thing with addictions. They use them as a crutch to perpetuate fear based decisions instead of letting go and trusting God to fight for them.
