High School
High School Ministry at Southland exists to help students fall in love with and follow Jesus.
Everything that we do focuses to achieve this. We want students to have a great experience and we love to see life change happen. Any student is invited to join us.

ONE80 Home Groups
Sundays & Wednesdays in various homes
A Home Group consists of about 20-40 students that are broken down into about 4-6 Life Groups within each home. Caring, well-trained adult leaders are there to help invest in the lives of High School students by building relationships with them, encouraging them, and leading discussions about what it means to be a Jesus follower. We have 7 homes (5 on Wednesdays, 2 on Sundays) that meet in Lexington, Nicholasville and Wilmore. Our desire is that these gatherings become a safe “home away from home” for High School students where they feel welcomed, wanted and challenged in their walk with Jesus.
ONE80 Sunday
Sunday Mornings, 11:30am, Building C
ONE80 Sunday is an opportunity for High School students to gather together for worship and bible teaching in an environment specifically designed for them. In a fast-paced world with so many things going on, we want to provide an opportunity for students to corporately come together, push pause and focus their hearts and minds on their only true source of meaning and hope: Jesus Christ. By crying their hearts out to Him in worship and by filling their minds with biblical truth, students will be better equipped to face their weekly tasks head-on and with the right perspective.
ONE80 Block Party
Once a month on a weekend
Block Parties are once a month corporate get-togethers for the main purpose of having a lot of fun! These are great opportunities for students to bring their friends who are not a part of our incredible community. Our hope and desire is that these friends will want to be a part of what’s going on here on a more regular basis. Block Party events include carnival-style outdoor blowout, drive-in move at the church, bonfires and hayrides, concerts, and mud games, to name a few.
