Your greatest indulgence?: Turning up the heat past 62 degrees when company comes over.
What was your childhood ambition?: I used to lock myself in my room for hours and sing along to Jaci Velasquez. I thought if I sang the words of John 3:16 over and over, maybe somehow the Lord would bless me with some talent.
What's something God's been teaching you lately you didn't know before?: To let the Spirit develop my relationship with God instead of micro-managing a list of spiritual goals. My friend Michelle once said, "The Spirit can do in 30 seconds what we strive to do for 30 years." That's such a relief.
What famous person to do people tell you that you look like?: This is such an awkward question…
What's one thing people don't know about you?: People generally know everything about me…I think it's because I talk so much…
What is your definition of a retreat?: A complete change of scenery, a couple of friends, my Bible, really early mornings with coffee—the kind where you don't have to get ready for anything at any particular time, just sitting around with the Lord and the Word and the church.
