What is your greatest indulgence?
Buying fresh flowers from the grocery. Even though they wilt, they make me happy.
What is your favorite TV series?
19 Kids and Counting. The Duggars are great reminders that there is a joyful and innocent life as children of God.
What is your favorite season, and why?
Fall. Love the cooler weather and all things that happen in fall, like pumpkins and apple orchards and Thanksgiving.
What is one book that has impacted you?
Lots. But, probably Captivating by Stasi Eldredge.
When did you first come to Southland?
June 2009 as an employee. I started my Southland membership in the nursery in 1987.
What is something God has been teaching you lately you didn't know before?
Grace. He loves me more than I can imagine and I am a precious child of His.
What brought you to Southland?
A job posting on MySouthland.org.
What kept you here?
A sense of a deeper calling to find out why I am truly here.
What inspires you?
Seeing women further in their walk with Christ than I am. And, on a creative note, beautifully interior designed spaces, flowers and all things feminine and girly.
If you could vacation anywhere... where would you go?
Somewhere peaceful. Somewhere I don't have to bring my walking shoes or carry a map.
What is your biggest challenge?
Understanding who God is, accepting and living in his promises covering my life.
