- What famous person do people tell you that you look like?
- In High School, I was told I looked like Andrea on 90210. I don't think I have been told recently who I look like.
- What's on your ipod right now?
- Mostly contemporary Christian, some country and lots of Andy Stanley.
- Your first job?
- I worked at the Hardee's in our small town. I quit the first time I had to clean the boy's bathroom.
- Your greatest indulgence?
- Probably purses and shoes. I don't spend a lot of money on them but I have a lot of them.
- What's your favorite TV series?
- Friends by far!
- Favorite season, and why?
- Summer, I love warm weather, sunshine and laying by the pool.
- What's one book that has impacted you?
- The Same Kind of Different as Me made me look at serving the poor in a whole new light.
- Most recent purchase?
- Groceries.
- When did you first come to Southland?
- I have gone here all my life with my dad and step mom when I would visit.
- What's one thing people don't know about you?
- I competed in beauty pageants when I was in high school.
- What was your childhood ambition?
- To be Miss America.
- What's something God's been teaching you lately you didn't know before?
- How I don't and can't control anything
- Your role at SCC?
- I work on the Connection team and help to maintain and launch Life Groups.
- One of your proudest moments?
- Watching my children serve others
- What is your definition of a retreat?
- Going to the beach with my family.
- What brought you to Southland?
- Came with my family.
- What kept you here?
- The awesome people.
- Your most memorable experience?
- Having my children.
- What inspires you?
- People who overcome the odds/people who don't let anyone tell them they can't no matter what the situation.
- Your favorite snack?
- Anything chocolate.
- If you could vacation anywhere... where would you go?
- A beach, anywhere.
- What's your biggest challenge?
- Letting go of control.
- Who lives in your house?
- My husband, Marc, our daughter Emma Grace and our son Owen.
