Zucchini as Big as Your Head
Were you there when the Community Garden was just an idea during the weekend services? In a few short months this idea has become a reality through the hard work of some dedicated volunteers. Even better, we're already reaping the first harvest.
In these pictures are the fruits of those volunteer labors. Or maybe we should say vegetables of volunteer labors, given it's a garden? Whether we say fruits or vegetables, because of the giving and sacrifice of resources and time that you've made we're going to be able to gift this food to some friends in need in downtown Lexington through our missional groups. Sharing the love of Jesus really is this simple.
Want to get involved in the garden, meeting the real needs of real people with love? There are still plenty of work dates which can be found on the Harrodsburg Road Calendar under Local Involvement.
