Support Short-Term Missions

Are you interested in getting involved in Short-term Missions? Maybe you're ready to jump on the next plane, or maybe you're wondering if there are other things you can do. Just as with any type of missions, GOING is only one of the many needs. We'd like to invite you to participate with us in Short-term Missions in one of three ways: PRAY, GIVE or GO.

PRAY - We would like to give you the opportunity to partner with us in prayer. If you are interested in praying for a trip, please see the list of current Short-term Mission trips, prayerfully choose the trip you'd like to partner with, and pray for the requests listed on their Prayer Needs page. For more information about becoming a prayer partner for the entire trip and praying even more specifically, contact Southland Missions by clicking on "Contact Southland Staff".

GIVE - Most people immediately think of money when GIVING is mentioned. However, financial support is only a part of it. Emotional support and encouragement are important too. One of the ways you can do this is by serving on a Frontline team, which supports and represents missionaries while they are on the mission field. For more information on Frontline teams, contact Southland Missions by clicking on "Contact Southland Staff".

Financial support is a necessity for sending out mission teams. If you feel led to become involved in short-term missions through financial support, visit the "I wanna GO!" page to find the trips that are available, prayerfully choose the trip you'd like to partner with, and contact Southland Missions by clicking on "Contact Southland Staff" regarding the financial needs of that trip.

GO - This year, there are several scheduled short-term mission trips. These trips range from construction to VBS, from elementary teacher training to English as a Second Language (ESL). For more information, visit the "I wanna GO!" section of MySouthland or contact Southland Missions by clicking on "Contact Southland Staff".
