We love being in Central Kentucky. There's so many awesome things to get behind as a church. We'd like to take the opportunity to celebrate the Legacy Trail that will be opening soon. Here's a quick note that they sent us.

The new 12-mile, paved path from downtown to the Kentucky Horse Park opens Sunday, Sept 12, at 1p.m.  The official athletic shoelace cutting and art activity begin 3 p.m. at the Coldstream Park Trailhead.

Bring all your friends and join the 2nd Sunday bike ride beginning at Cheapside Park, pack a picnic to “trail-gate,” see public art and more. Park and start your fun at any of three trailheads: North Lexington Family YMCA where you’ll find the Y’s Family Fun Fest; Coldstream Park off Newtown Pike; and Iron Works Pike across from the Horse Park Campground. Free parking for 2nd Sunday also available at the Lexington Herald-Leader for those who want to join the ride there.

Visit the website or call 859-225-3343 for details.
