Danville Food Bank Needs Help

People in Boyle County may not be starving, but many are hungry on a regular basis. The Danville Food Bank, located at the back entrance of First Baptist Church, corner of 2nd and Walnut Street, is very low on food supplies. How can you help make a difference in our community? Pick up an extra item or two at the grocery store each week and drop it off at the food bank on Tuesdays or Thursdays (the food bank is open from 2—3:30 p.m.).

Items needed include:
• Peanut butter
• Jelly
• Canned soup
• Spam or Treat
• Corned Beef Hash
• Tuna, salmon, and canned chicken
• Dry cereal
• Pasta
• Hamburger Helper or Tuna Helper
• Canned Chili
• Canned Spinach
• Canned Potatoes
• Spaghetti sauce
• Sugar
• Flour
• Canned milk
• Powdered drink mixes
• Hot chocolate mix (dry powder)
• Dry Soup mixes
• Stove Top Stuffing
• Pork and Beans
• Ramen Noodles

If you are not able to drop off donations at First Baptist, please contact Cindy at 877.337.1600 ext. 635 to make other arrangements.
