What will it be like?
People have been asking me lately, “What will the Richmond Road campus be like? How would it differ from our other campuses?” Here are some of the things I share:
As on our other campuses, you’ll find:
- friendly people there!
- people with a passion for serving the community there!
- fantastic Children’s and Youth programs, in wonderful environments there.
- people coming Christ and being baptized there!
- Jon teaching live via large screen projection broadcast from Harrodsburg Road.
- identical worship times.
- familiar and loved worship leaders and musicians there, live.
- the same Core Values and Mission there.
- opportunities to be in Life Groups there.
- places to serve, volunteer, grow and get involved there.
Everything that makes our two existing campuses vibrant and alive…you’ll find on Richmond Road…except the concrete barriers in the parking lot at Harrodsburg Road. If you like concrete barriers, don’t go to Danville or Richmond Road! (just kidding!)
954 people have committed thus far to attend the new campus! We’re looking for 500 more to sign up before Easter.
Note: WE HAVE CHANGED THE DATE FOR OUR Richmond Road Vision Night TO TUESDAY, APRIL 17, 6:30 in BUILDING B on the Harrodsburg Road Campus. You won’t want to miss this night. Put it on your calendar today!
The floor for the worship center and stage have been poured. Most of the framing for the Children’s area is up inside the Dillard’s Building and drywall hanging is underway. The new roof on the Dillard’s Building is almost complete and the roof will be put on the worship building during the month of March. The pace is accelerating–much more to come!
Blessings!
