This weekend we're hosting an event that is getting some attention from the press and other entities throughout the community. This event works with the Hispanic community and our friends at Iglesia Nueva Vida to minister to an incredible group of people in Lexington. With this event, there has come a great deal of opposition and protesting, along with many false accusations about Southland and what we’re trying to do here.  In these situations, we ask that you give us the benefit of the doubt. We are doing nothing illegal. The events are held all over the country and they’ve been going on for years.

We do understand that some of it may be confusing. So we've compiled a fact sheet that deals with all of the misinformation that's out there. Feel free to read it over and pray for those we're reaching with this ministry.
