Welcome to Southland Set for May 20 in Danville

Recently, I've found myself using the phrase "church family" a lot.  I think family is the best word for what Jesus had in mind for the church - His followers.  A family spends time with one another. They eat meals together.  A family looks out for one another.  A family lives life a certain way - a culture.  The older show the younger how to live life that way.  A family encourages each other through the difficult times and celebrates together in the exciting times!  A family sticks together.

Would you use the word "family" to describe Southland?  We'd like for you to feel like Southland is your family!

Join us at Welcome to Southland this weekend after the 2nd service (12:30-1:30). We'll meet at Connection Point and we can talk about how to get connected into the Southland family.  I'll give you an overview of what Southland is all about and we'll have plenty of time to talk about how you can be a part.

See you Sunday!

We’ve Grown

As the Danville campus has grown over the last 15+ months, we have seen several of it's children's environments grow to capacity. Because of this, next week we will be opening a new environment as well as shifting some ages and grades around. In the image below, you will find a map of the new rooms and age breakdowns for the Danville Campus. In addition to creating more space, this move also allows us to more effectively group our children according to developmental stages. This will allow our teaching to have more impact in your child's life on a weekly basis. Please direct any questions or concerns to Lindsey or Jon.
